Synergy Cloud recruits Wayne Calderbank to drive analytics offering

Synergy Cloud, part of Claims Consortium Group, has appointed Wayne Calderbank to the role of Director of Data and Insight as part of the claims and software services provider’s strategy to continually enhance its service offerings and provide valuable claims insights and analysis to insurer, MGA, broker and third-party administrator clients.

Wayne will be responsible for the strategic application of data and analytics across Synergy Cloud and the wider Group. With over 25 years’ experience in the Insurance and Loss Adjusting industry, Wayne’s experience includes leading claims technical and operational strategies at a major insurer, leading a data transformation programme and a data science function start-up. 

In his role, Wayne will oversee a team of 15 analysts and data scientists across the Group, including software as a service company Synergy Cloud and weather data company, WeatherNet. The group has access to decades of historical and present-day claims data, underpinned with trillions of weather data, and further enriched with Government and other open-source data.
